Cards in Envy Challenge: A vintage Snowman

Well, I needed to make a vintage Christmas Card for this Challenge.  Well, I love the Snowman from the Watercolor Christmas collection and thought I could make him vintage looking.  What do you think?
This is a very simple one layer (if you don't count the mat) in an A-2 size.

Using Strathmore Watercolor Paper, 140# cold press, I wet the card and applied Mermaid Lagoon in a wash over the entire Card.  Once Dry, I stamped in a grey Archival ink.
I do my layout on a plastic grid template with card underneath, stamp in a water-soluble ink like momento, adjust my placement and then stamp the final image in an archival ink.  I used archival because I was going to be adding more water and did not want it to run.
Tricia Morris did a wonderful YouTube presentation of this stamp set and the entire collection.  Her is the link: YouTube Video about this stamp set.  At the end of the video she demonstrates a snow man card, so I followed her instructions and added my own "style".

After, stamped, colored and dry, I cut out with Postage Stamp Die for Spellbinders and mounted it not a red mat and then finally a white card base.  A little bit of Gelly Roll Pen in clear star and silver ribbon completes the picture.

Merry Christmas
Josette
